That is canon for m'y playthrough as i Nevers managed to beat him. Im stuck at rhé las battle, getting m'y ass pulped.

As always we can blame fucking focus group testing instead of sticking to your guns and artistic vision.

I just replayed BG1 recently, now that I understand D&D way better than I did the first time around, and he was just as hard as the first time, probably because he exceeds the level cap for the player. Really it's his goons that you have to worry about though, so you can cheese it with stuff like invisibility, speed potions, etc. to pick off his goons before you attack him directly.
