Recently i came across a tiktok post of someone expressing their frustration with certain people using the term "overstimulation" when they aren't actually overstimulated and a lot of comments were about the fact that everyone experiences overstimulation,of course everyone experiences it but if that's true then why do we need support to deal with it or why is it a diagnostic criteria for autistic people?
