Hello my dear Devs. Please wish this nervous 34 year old Data Engineer starting out game dev as a hobby. My 9-8 is slowly eating up the rest of my life and I dont want to spend my life working hard with nothing created for me. I want to work hard to build something I love and enjoy. I have been amazed by the things you all do with godot and I have been amazed by games since the first time I played the ol' Brick game in 98. I think the world has room for more Indie games and I think godot is helping me get there one day. I want to challenge myself and release a game all by myself. Just to prove to myself I can do it. obligatory screenshot of current progress. I am calling my tiny Indie Studio full of dreams Ideas and Energy, All Dinosaurs Game, because I love dinosaurs and I love games. plus my wife drew the cute dinosaur with a joystick. I hope to share my progress here and become part of this thriving community. The screenshot will not make a lot of sense but I want to track my progress every week. I am trying to something like space invaders with a twist. Please with me luck and if you can I would love to hear about your journeys, your triumphs and struggles on this path. |
