Good news does not always need a lesson.

For example, if someone says,

“I finally got the job,”

I would not jump to,

“Good, now make sure you negotiate and save more money.”

I would just say,

“That is awesome. Congrats.”

Sometimes people want you to celebrate first, not coach them.
