I did not realize we are after valentine day, it was packed with heart shaped chocolate at -50% next to huge chocolate bunnies cause it is somewhat already Easter?

I got a new couch yesterday and I'm super excited (yes, I am that old that a new couch excites me)! how are you?

Ever since I got my first apartment at 19 new couches excited me. The first new couch I ever got was a set of matching luv chairs that someone had thrown out. I kept those things for five years.

My wife and I just replaced our couch set of ten years with a new couch and arm chair. It totally changed the room. They have auto reclining, and built in USB charging and cell phone charging.

I couldn’t sleep from 3:30-5 last night. Coughing and blowing my nose. Interview this morning. Didn’t do my readings for yesterday or today. Don’t really want to be existing right now.

My life is falling apart. I can't find full time work that will cover my mortgage. I am in a panic every minute of every day.

Second degree burned due to pooring boiling water over my fingers. And i am, stuborn as i am, climbing out of a situation with my now fiance , caused by my all so lovely family that defenetly does not try to sabotage my life at every opportunity :)

So far. Meh. I broke down a couple days ago but have recovered over the weekend. Today I feel alright, tired all to hell and have to work but meh. Good news is I'm expecting to get paid from my freelancing job this week. Enough to buy myself the laptop I want so I've got that going, which is nice.

I had a small relapse and drank excessively for three days. Yesterday I had to drive six hours round-trip and work six, with a brutal hangover. No booze today, I'm gonna beat it again.

My cat died last week and it sucks balls and I haven't slept in over a week. It will take a long time to get over it, he died suddenly and I spent an entire day in the ER trying to save his life but it didn't work. He was only 9 years old. He was an amazing cat who went on hikes, bike rides, and walked with me and my dog almost everyday. He also traveled with me and went to parties and loved meeting new people. I don't know if I will ever be lucky enough to have such an amazing cat again.

I am trying to date again since November and it also sucks balls. People I go out with are super mean. I had to cancel a date this weekend and the woman basically told me to go fuck myself for being depressed about losing my cat. I hate how awful, sexist, and angry most women I meet are. Of my last 4 dates, one person was nice, and the other 3 were incredibly rude and just whined at me for an hour about how poor they are (they were all rich people).

Otherwise my life is great. I am doing great at work and finally seeing a lot of my suggestions get implemented and I got an extra week of vacation in lieu of a raise. My hobbies are going well and my fitness is getting way better after some bad injuries/accidents last year that tanked it. My diet has improved too thanks to the training and my dog and I have been doing adv training classes and she really loves having a job. She is also struggling with the loss of our cat be this week she is wagging her tail again and being happier.
