Can't tell if you're joking, but the time of 45min exposures was definitely over in 1920. ; ) Panchromatic plates (which were also much more sensitive) were invented in 1906, and the Leica small frame camera was invented in 1917, so there must have been some selfie-ready film (or glass plates) available.

A reverse image search helps since anything predating decent image generation is in the clear.

Thanks for the info, but no, im not saying that at all. Im just saying that, in the era of the 45 min exposure, selfies eould have been a pain. Thats why everyone in those pictures generally look so miserable.
