Big pushing match between Wakanosho and Kinbozan that goes back and forth until Waka grabs an incoming wrist and drags Kinbo off balance to shove him out from behind. I really wish they had more angles to show replays from--at first I thought Waka had smacked Kinbo across the face to disorient him. I think he made some connection but it wasn't the winning move, but it's hidden because the camera is behind Waka at the time.

Abi goes for a slap down off the tachiai but Shishi manages to keep his feet and push Abi out while stumbling forward. Not the most graceful but a win's a win.

After a an initial slap or two Nishikifuji pulls Tamawashi down and he goes skidding across the ring.

Mitakeumi finds an inside right but it goes nowhere as he and Chiyoshoma have a long stalemate. When Chiyo goes for a drive Mita lifts him and pivots to put him on the bales where Chiyo hangs on with his toes for a couple seconds before going over. Mita just doesn't seem to have much energy these days.

Wakamotoharu finds an inside belt grip off the line but Oshomi breaks it and goes for a drive that WMH uses a throw attempt to counter. When he finds his inside grip again he goes for a force out that turns into a crush out with both wrestlers falling out and off the ring with WMH landing on top.

I have an event tonight so I probably won't get back to this until tomorrow. Here's hoping Kiri can keep the hounds at bay.

!!! HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE !!!

so currently we're at:

11 wins: Kirishima, Wakatakakage

10 wins: Yoshinofuji, Hakunofuji, Ura, Kotoeiho, Fujiryoga

And here are the relevant matches tonight:

Kirishima vs Ura
Wakatakakage vs Fujiryoga
Yoshinofuji vs Kotoeiho
Hakunofuji vs Fujiseiun

!!! HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE !!!

And here are the possible outcomes:

So if I'm reading it right (and without looking at win-loss ratios) there's like a

• 50% chance there'll be NO playoffs
• 25% chance of 1 playoff !
• 12.5% chance of 5-person playoff !!!
• 12.5% chance of 6-person playoff !!!!!

!!! HYPE HYPE HYPE HYPE !!!

I dunno what's gonna happen tonight. I just wanna say that IF Ura ever DOES will a yusho, it'll prolly be like at the end of a 6-person playoff.

Behold, the people's champion
