So I started with space exploration because I saw martincitopant’s space exploration series and wanted to try the game for myself and now I’m wondering if starting with SE was a mistake due to what my friends are telling me. I made a multiplayer SE world with my one of my friends who loves satisfactory and who had also never played factorio before. we ended up getting to launching a satellite. I then started my own SE world because my friend wasn’t playing enough for how much this game hooked me, and I’m now about 70 hours in and approaching starting the first space science pack (got to orbit, dealing with logistics of cargo rocket shipping now). The thought of having 300-600+ more hours of content ahead of me really excites me and I love how complicated and difficult the game is getting at this point. A lot of my friends are messaging me now though and saying I should just start a new space age world because it’s more polished and that my SE world will become obsolete anyways when 0.8 releases. I wouldn’t mind starting again, but I’m hoping that Space Age has a lot more content past the initial satellite launch, because I feel like I’m already getting really good at the normal Nauvis stuff. What says you guys? Is it worth migrating over to space age for the time being? Also will space age help a lot if I plan to go back and beat SE later? Or is it massively different? |
