Is this normal, that Big wriggler just spawn on me at random times?

Like, I'm building a biochamber, selecting a recipe and bang, out of nowhere the raiders of heart attack appear.

Like I have barely any buildings yet there.

Is this the pattern enemies go or will they raid the Agricultura Towers?
