If that's all there is to this arc, colour me surprised. I thought it would be dragged out like Akane's.

I also thought it would be the start of villainess Kana - like Ruby's case - but she actually took it quite positively - or at least as positively as the situation allows.

I've got even more respect for Kana now. Aqua is on point about her being a fighter alright.

I like that Kana managed to pick herself up without any interference of a knight in a shining armor. That would feel so cliche.
Go Kana! Fuck the haters!

Yeah! I gotta respect the author for that. Kana is such a great character!

As long as she's been in show business, I'm surprised that Kana even got upset about this. She should be a lot more jaded.

Gotta generate enough drama to fill up an episode or 3 manga chapters somehow though.

If you put Ruby or MEM or Akane in the same situation, none of them wouldn't seem nearly as vulnerable.

I'm guessing that something was lost in translation.

I believe I'm hearing her say "Sasuga no kishi daroo, watashi"

Which would translate as "Expecting a (white) knight, am I?"

That would fit in more of this scene's theme of Kana declaring her independence from needing Aqua to comfort her.
