In short:

Upper house MP Sarah Game is introducing legislation to SA parliament to place new limits on abortions after 25 weeks.

Ms Game's previous attempt to change abortion laws was defeated in the upper house, and the latest bill will be fiercely opposed by abortion rights campaigners.

What's next?

The SA Abortion Action Coalition says it is "extremely disappointed" the issue is again before parliament, but Ms Game says she hopes to bring the bill to a vote before parliament's winter break.
