Empires Source Mod is a free multiplayer game on the Source Engine that is like a multiplayer fps-RTS hybrid, there is still an active playerbase on the weekends and it is honestly quite a lot of fun. The graphics also I think are unironically gorgeously simple in contrast to a lot of modern games especially since source engine games are no longer common.

I am pretty sure you don't even need a graphics card to play this game..... which is kinda great.
