Hello everyone!

I am planning on having a recital in July with my students. Due to the fact that Canada Day will have just passed, I thought it would be good of me to prepare a couple of unofficial anthems of Canada to perform. Meaning, if there were some songs out there that would encapsulate Canada, please list them here!

Please keep in mind that it should sound good without the words (ie, unfortunately Classified's, "Oh Canada" will not work) and hopefully be appropriate for all ages.

Looking forward to any suggestions, many thanks in advance!

Peeing in the snow - Buddy Wasisname and the Other Fellers

Oh that's what this song is called! Thank you so much!!!

How about the actual anthem? I don't understand why you disqualified it.

Last Saskatchewan Pirate

Originally by the Arrogant Worms, but Captain Tractor's version is superior (Come at me, bro)

And of course no Canadian list would be complete without :

The Logdriver's Waltz

Anything from Mike Ford, no idea about how it sounds without words.

I want to expand their horizons.

Absolutely adore Land of the Silver Berch https://youtu.be/7zDTdKRqZ9g

I have vague memories of that from my childhood that were totally lost to me until listening to that again now. Good song.
