My Review

It seems like one of those slow will-they-won't-they rom-coms, so it's a surprise when the author hits you with a baseball bat of a plot twist in chapter 21.

Readers expecting a light, easy romcom felt betrayed and review-bombed it. I'm caught up to the English translation and what came after chapter 21 was more mature, messy, and yet somehow still wholesome.

If you can handle The Last of Us 2, you can handle the twist and we'll see if the author sticks the landing.
