I AM FINALLY, AT 38, GETTING DIAGNOSED WITH PCOS

my god i found a good doctor and maybe things can get better.
Just got back from her office. Theres something going on with pain in my armpit, its new, and ongoing. shes taking me seriously! Theyre going to give me an ultrasound, She doesnt think its cancer (whew) but it could be due to homonal changes.

lookong forward to my upcoming care. It feels silly to be excited, but like, half my hair fell out when I was 14, and I didnt get my period until I was 17 and put on birthcontrol. I sobbed for 15 years over my hair loss. 14 and just, clumps coming out in the shower, it was horrifing. I feel like I am hugging that sobbing young girl today. Gah

That's amazing news!! Congrats on finding a doctor who is listening to you! I also want to send a hug to that scared girl today and another hug to the awesome woman who has persevered in getting treatment <3

I have to fix the watering system in my garden. The smaller black tubes keep popping off of the inline connectors. I’ve tried to fix it by snipping and reconnecting the tube, but I think I’ll have to swap out the connectors, kind of dreading that because they are a bitch to pull from the main line. Ugh!!

Otherwise, I’m keeping my pole beans, soybeans, tomatoes, cucumber, and hot pepper plants alive and watching my new strawberry box grow. Oh, and stopping to smell the marigolds :)
