Yeah, pretty ironic that they still use a Microsoft product for a "sovereignty-focused" alternative to Microsoft.

EuroOffice/OnlyOffice is considered to have a cleaner/easier user interface, while LibreOffice is a more comprehensive and mature product.

Something like this should at least have been mentioned on national media. Haven't seen a thing. Maybe it's because of the name. I'd like to be enthousiastic about this, but I can't.

its just for online collaboration and as some point out low power devices. Im with you though. I generally just do office things on my computer and that does not need to be online. Heck I don't even do all that much office stuff nowadays.

Entirely different codebase. Euro-office is a rebranded fork of the Russian developed ONLYOFFICE.
