This is a completely random thought that came up while I was writing an essay for uni, but has anyone read Walter Benjamin's Critique of Violence? Garou's philosophy of "absolute evil" seems very similar to the "divine violence" in Benjamin's essay that is unbiased and seeks to destroy law-making and law-preserving violence altogether. Also, the Hero Association seems to operate on the same foundations of violence, where monster violence is needed to justify its legitimacy.
