Some rules we try to uphold:

Be civil. Bigotry is not welcome. This includes (but is not limited to): transphobia, queerphobia, racism, ageism and ableism. We do not promote hate.
Communities need to be Retro or Retro-adjacent.
Please don't upload pornographic content. (use an external image host for that)

This change would continue with a series of updates in which Google is pushing its AI search as the default experience.

Fortunately, there are many excellent alternatives out there... no better time to switch.

To name a few:
Browser -> Vivaldi, Firefox, Waterfox and Ecosia
Search -> Ecosia, Ecosia, Kagi and DuckDuckGo

Browsers -> IronFox (Android), LibreWolf, Celenity's Phoenix Firefox Rules, Mullvad Browser (Desktop), SnowHaze (iOS)

Search -> SearxNG, StartPage, DDG, Ecosia
