I was just looking up Warpinator's compatibility with Windows since it's so nice on Linux, but https://warpinator.net/ randomly capitalizes the "P" at the bottom, which is just wild and out of nowhere; I fear that it may be an impostor site. What's the best way to tell?

This might help, it says warpinator.com is a fake website and this issue mentions warpinator.net. The github homepage does mention (unofficial) windows port

Yeah but then why does it even brand itself as "WarPinator.net?" It does that in at least 3 different places which made me raise an eyebrow, then scrunch both.

don't trust it.

the actual linuxmint warpinator repo readme points to this third-party windows build (because mint does not provide windows binaries themselves):

https://github.com/slowscript/warpinator-windows/releases

the warpinator repo gives a couple sources for third-party windows builds. the site you are asking about is not one of the links provided.

Thanks. These imposters are disgusting. I wonder how we can get them off the internet.
