Just reading this https://www.bulknutrients.com.au/blog/feature-articles/why-protein-powder-prices-keep-rising

Right now, demand is growing faster than supply.

Protein has become far more mainstream over the past few years. It’s no longer just athletes and gym-goers buying protein powder — high-protein foods, snacks, drinks, and meal options are now everywhere, and more consumers are actively increasing their protein intake for:

  • Muscle recovery and maintenance
  • General health and wellness
  • Satiety and appetite management
  • Healthy ageing and active lifestyles

As demand continues to rise globally, manufacturers are competing for a limited supply of high-quality whey raw materials. We expect some businesses may not be able to secure any supply.

Thankfully I'm not impacted as I'm lactose intolerant so for me:

If you don’t mind moving away from dairy – the plant based proteins have not seen the price increases that dairy has, so now might be a good time to try Earth Protein, or one of the other plant-variants.
