Not exactly piracy, but have you checked out Libby (app), its a library reader.

I currently have 2 (US) libraries that I borrow ebooks from and its great because I do not live in a country that English is spoken natively.

Now, the not exactly part comes from the fact that I keep asking people for other region library card numbers so I have a larger assortment of books to choose from (so if any of y'all have a car number and library branch name please DM me).

You can download and remove the DRM from the borrowed book following this tutorial.

This is several years old, does it still work? Not sure that it does, but thanks nonetheless for posting.
