Everyone talks about “first contact” like it’s some future event.

But what if humanity already experienced it decades or even centuries ago and simply didn’t understand what it was looking at?

Think about how ancient civilizations described impossible things in mythological terms because they lacked the language for advanced technology if something genuinely non-human appeared throughout history humans would probably reinterpret it through religion, folklore or superstition.

That’s honestly why Disclosure Day interests me so much. The movie doesn’t feel focused on aliens arriving it feels focused on hidden truths resurfacing.

Like humanity is finally reconnecting dots that were always there in the background and the more I think about that possibility, the more unsettling it becomes.
