It looks like LTO-3 is my price point, I hoard all my data but its not a lot of volume so its actually realistic and at some point i may jump to LTO-5/6 (And migrate the data)

I see i need a SCSI Ultra 3 (Ultra160) HBA
such as the LSI Logic lsi20320ie but i read that its all auto config and can have some issues.

Ive heard people using PCIe to PCI adapters with success

For laughs i was wanting to get an HBA that works under 10 as a bridge machine but W7 or W2K would be fine i guess.

Any thoughts on what LTO-3 drive to look for and a preferred Ultra160 HBA?
