Next I’ll do the form and order some lill stones to prep the surface, some steel reinforcement and put all in place before getting some concrete.

That's awesome! What kind of terrace are you putting in? I'm imagining a pergola?

Jealous of those bushes. Are they yes or juniper or something else? I've been wanting to put some in since I live in Suburbia but don't want to throw up a fence.

I’m on a budget so this year it will be a simple slab. Next year I’ll put tiles in. I looked into led inserts and all but those will have to wait. I have foreseen technical conduits for those and outlets.

I have a whole… wish list… from the missus which includes pergola, jacuzzi and all but I’ll have to remind her of the notion of priority :)

I’m so far quite happy with the adventure though.

The bushes are from right to left a very ancient boxwood, lilac, currants, raspberry and then it’s mostly thuyas which we inherited from the previous owner and which I am considering to drastically reduce or replace as it’s taking a whole lotta room.

How fun! If you had a couple of acres and some fun equipment, you could charge people to come out and play with it!

That - and the vibrating plate I used yesterday - are my highlight in fun toys this year. I'd totally pay a couple of € to play with that kind of tools instead of your to six flags :)
