I see old religions often had sacrificial rituals and even today have remnants of that. Was there anything to that? No. It is up to you what you believe, and while it may be healthy to have a positive belief structure related to the removal of bad things and the conversion of subpar things to better things, the actual purposeful destruction of good things should get no positive feedback. Essentially: deities are are not made happy thru sacrifice or loss but thru creation and growth of what matches their energy, causes revisit, and increases their further growth. |
