So I installed fedora for the first time, and updating felt slow compared to Debian that I was previously using.... I then realised Fedora uses btrfs by default, so I reinstalled fedora using ext4. Run some fio tests, and the write speed is 1800MB/s using btrfs Vs 3000MB/s using ext4. Is this normal? Is it possible to make btrfs write faster? Or just stick with ext4? Thanks |
