The title of this post is incorrect for some reason, the actual article headline is

Milly Alcock Reveals ‘Supergirl’ Cape Was Made With Same Fabric As Christopher Reeve’s 1978 ‘Superman’ Cape.

Reading the article, it's not made from the cape, just from the same roll of fabric sounds like
