I've read about the crisis apparition phenomenon for years and I'm never quite sure how I feel about it. It's magical, eerie, wondrous, scary and unbelievable all at once. It's usually a comfort for those who experience it and it always leaves a sense of greater things at play in life. There's a quick dip article here and a deeper, academic one here.
