So ive been basically looking for some Custom Mob Textures to use on my 1.12.2 MC Server running Forge :P

Saldy the Mob Skin even tho there is a 1.12 Download apparently is just a 128x128 Texture cuaisng the Sheep ingame to be completely messed up :(

So ive decided to take a Crack at it and fix it myself via downscaling and stichting it together for 1.12 myself but sadly with no luck as just the fact alone that the Original SHeep SKin is smaller and Split into Two causes the Downscaling ARtificats to be beyond Good Looking :(

Does anyone by Chance have Tips on how to fix those tho as i tried a bunch of downscaling alorithmns with no Real CHance of fixing it and im not good at spriting honestly so i coudlnt resprite it also :(

In GIMP go to Image -> Scale Image then change Interpolation to None. Just make sure you figure out what the correct original size was.

Sadly still looks off even with NONE as the Head for example has to be 28x14 :(

The only downscaling algorithm you want is "none". This is a pixel-perfect resize, from 2x scale to 1x, algorithms are for fitting and interpolating pixels that don't fit properly onto the resized grid, and they will blur and mess up pixel-perfect textures and basically ruin them.

Not sure if Lemmy will let me post these or if they'll work in this format but and are the split minecraft/textures/entity/sheep/sheep.png and minecraft/textures/entity/sheep/sheep_fur.png textures you need for 1.12.2, I assume you know how to build a little texture pack with them or otherwise replace them in-game, but if not there are plenty of guides for that.

Did you try downloading the two images I provided in my comment? They work for me.
