I watched this documentary earlier (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0jt09ZWp4c), and it made me realize I know almost nothing about John Dee beyond the fact that he advised Elizabeth I.

The documentary connects his Enochian writings to modern discussions about UAPs, interdimensional beings, and the name "ABORYMON." I honestly don't know enough about the history to tell whether those are well-supported connections or if they're mostly modern interpretations of Dee's work.

For those of you who've actually read Dee's writings or researched Enochian magic, how accurate is this? Is there a solid historical basis for these ideas, or has the story evolved over time as more people have connected it to modern phenomena?

I'd love to hear from people who've looked into the original material, whether you think there's something to it or not.
