Hi everyone,

I'm Ali Mujtuba Zaidi, a small history writer. I spend some of my time looking through books , old documents to understand how the past shaped the world we live in today.
this is my first time in lemmy club

I recently researched about some old history item that are very sold in auction
like, Leonardo da Vinci's Codex Leicester, Between 1506 and 1510, Leonardo filled its pages with observations on water, geology, astronomy, and light all written in his famous mirror script.
He kept asking questions about the natural world long before modern scientific methods were fully established

That research now is the article I'm sharing here. If you'd like to explore the history of the Codex Leicester and other remarkable artifacts that have sold at auction, you can read it below.

I love to hear what others think or if there are other historical manuscripts you believe deserve more attention.
