I played back in 5th/6th edition (though was aware of earlier editions when I was younger) and the inclusion of Orks in the latest launch box pulled me back in.

I finished building and spraying last night.

Ork Boyz and Grots are sprayed black then grey, should make speed painting them/slap chop easier. I plan to batch paint these to get through them I think.
Ork vehicles and bosses painted black for a more traditional, slower deliberate paint method. I’ll paint these start to finish one at a time, hopefully improving each time.
Marines are sprayed pink, initially I was going to make these Imperial Fists, but I’m not sure. I’ll stick to the yellow colour scheme though.

There’s a red sprayed Rhino in the back there. I bought some Chaos/Red Corsair boxes, and I let my 4 year old son pick out a model from the local game shop. He picked a Rhino (and often runs around the house with it shouting “boom boom”). He helped build it, I sprayed it Red and we’ll paint it together.
