!strange_activity_investigations@piefed.zip

This community is dedicated to the investigation of "strange" account activity on the Fediverse. We are not investigating malicious actors. There are a lot of good people working hard on that. We are looking into accounts which fall into the uncanny valley. Accounts not marked as bots which act very bot-like with no obvious motive.

I am a normal human fediverse user like you. How can I better ensure that I am recognised as human, and not mistaken for a robot? Robots are bad and I dislike them for normal human reasons.

Exactly what a human would say. I hereby grant you the certificate of verified human. The bill for 19.99 was sent in pm, please do not delay with payment, or the certificate might be revoked.

We still don't have a Threadiverse equivalent of Reddit's /r/totallynotrobots, if someone wants to start that, speaking of new communities.

Oh wow, I hope I'm weird enough to get covered here lol. Seems like a fedi badge of honor

Some of the strangest accounts are ...strangely mundane
