Is there ANY WAY in , that you CAN NOT wipe out the current on-the-fly #playlist? ? (Or get a confirmation #prompt before doing it.)

The “normal„ and voluntary way to do so is the cross in the upper-left corner.

But if you mis-tap the screen or open a video from a browser… or other manipulations… the app focuses on the new video, and the temporary playlist is “lost„.
Ya see what I mean?
