Just remember that most of Lemmy thought the world was gonna end during Trump's first term. Then most of Lemmy said that all minorities and gay people would be in death camps by now. None of that happened. So I think it's safe to say the scientists in Utah are safe. No one is gonna be locked up or burned up because of science. The next election is in just 2 years. So cheer up! :)
