I'll repeat: it was 1700+ in Belgium alone, 10000 is a bullshit number.

The peak was higher than during covid. Awful stories about elderly people being found lifeless in rooms of 45-50 degrees Celsius.

No proper response from any official on these numbers. No extra preparations for the next heatwave(s). Disgraceful.
