Attack on Paradise is a thoroughly satisfying action movie. It embraces the conceits of 1990s and early 2000s action movies that Jason Statham has been the current standard-bearer for. It’s a throwback to fun Hollywood stuff starring Jean-Claude Van Damme and Jet Li in his later career. It’s not as polished or well-funded as Hollywood and Hong Kong action movies, but if we’ve learned anything from that era of film it’s that what matters is heart—and stopping evil developers from ruining the neighborhood.

I didn't care much for Fantasia 1940 or Fantasia 2000. But this one seems to break the formula a little bit too much.
