Denver Summit FC’s permanent stadium opening is off-schedule, with delays keeping the NWSL club at Centennial Stadium through 2028.

I'm not surprised Denver overpromised on their stadium construction plans as part of their bid for an expansion team

Delays in acquiring the land pushed the timeline back. The 14,500-seat venue was expected to open in spring 2028. Instead, the club hopes to host at least some of its home games there later that year.
