I lived close to a bay where two rivers meet for a few years. You get adjusted to knowing the shortest path is a short ride in a boat.

Living somewhere more remote sounds so appealing, but it's hard when you're tied to jobs and school districts.

jobs and districts, you're covered; teaching is how i started traveling: 1.5 billion ESL students, 2-10k USD monthly salaries, lowww cost of living, plus you can teach other subjects in international schools. i taught math, history, physics, Latin, all sorts of subjects in addition to esl.

Some crazy floods must have ripped through that to clear that rock like that.

I rarely fished alone and I ate a bit more then than I do now. I ate fish a few years ago just to be social since you don't go to a fish fry to eat chicken.
