Luna is wearing a shirt with her brother on it and feeling pretty indignant about the experience.

My dog and I are exhausted after visiting multiple shelters to find a new kitty to adopt. And angry at how invasive and demanding and rude the rescues are. You do not need access to my medical history, my employment records, and my previous addresses for the past 10 years. I am trying to adopt an animal, not applying to work at the FBI/CIA. No, you do not have the right to surprise visit my home to inspect it. We had to leave two places because of their absurd demands for application and the volunteers got aggressive when I asked why I had to give them all this info. These people are INSANE. My previous cat and my dog, were adopted with a personal reference, a copy of my lease/mortgage, and a phone call to verify what I was looking for in a pet. That was it. It was so easy. |

yeah my wife and I have seen this. its like ok just keep having your dogs in kennels or cats in the cat room rather than them having a home if that is what you want. used to be you met with them and talked and looked around and maybe after awhile found a good connection with an animal and you paid a fee roughly equivalent to spaying/neutering and basic vet checkup bill to make sure your serious. Usually they had a policy of always taking back any animal adopted from them not that we did that but in case the people could not handle it. |
