When Anthony Ferraro highlighted the difficulty blind and partially sighted guitar players face in navigating the fretboard, boutique builder NVision Guitars came to the rescue

“I just found out this year that sighted people have fret markers they can look at on the guitar. This is incredible!” Ferraro exclaims.

This could help a lot of non-disabled guitar players as well. When looking at charts to play music, having a tactile positioning system instead of solely relying on looking at the fretboard (or just straight up muscle memory) would be invaluable. Improvements like this could lower the skill ceiling and get more people playing.

very true!
