With both having GNOME as the Desktop Environment, from the user perspective they don't differ too much. So why do so many people prefer Fedora over Ubuntu? What are some differences that make you like Fedora more?

I am personally on a Fedora now, but still recommend Ubuntu to beginners. I myself don't see any too breaking differences between both, except some small Ubuntu specific changes to GNOME
