In short:

Victorian Labor ministers Harriet Shing and Lily D'Ambrosio have announced their resignations from cabinet.

The news comes just days after Jacinta Allan stood down as premier, with Ben Carroll taking up the leadership.

Mr Carroll is expected to announce his new cabinet on Monday, now with three vacancies to fill.
