Got those migrants ready to deploy at a moments notice.

Im sure rounding those people up and getting them on on gravel truck beds is very humanitarian. 😬

Which country is interested in sabotaging Spain position in the EU, and the EU itself? Which country has a government openly hostile to Spain? Which country has excellent relations with Morocco?

It begins with an U and ends with an A.

They know where they assemble. Usually the Moroccan authorities prevent assaults like the one we’ve had today. For some reason, today they actually helped those guys.

"usa" is one way to spell it, you're not wrong, but a more accurate spelling is "israel".

Weaponising migrants and treating them like cattle.

Despicable, disgusting behavior by the Moroccan authorities.

This is all cause of the fact that Spain backed Iran in the US - Iran war now Israel and the US are trying to show spain what happens when you stand against them. I hope Spain successfully prevails.

Posts like this give me the ick a bit.

First: no context. Is this the Moroccan army taking migrants to Ceuta, or did they intercept a truck with migrants and force them to unload before they reached the border? Spain and Morocco have generally pretty decent relations regarding migrants, especially since Morocco helped get the vast, vast majority of the migrants back to Morocco as well. We also see migrants cross by swimming or boats; this doesn't appear to be close to the coast.

Second, no reputable outlet of any kind seems to be reporting on this, probably meaning it's hard or impossible to verify what is actually happening here.

Third, there's no actual proof of Israeli involvement. The most "proof" I've seen is a 7 year old tweet from Netanyahu's son.

And fourth, there's pretty rampant antisemitism under those tweets. And I'm not talking about the "anti-zionism = antisemitism" kind, genuine antisemitism (e.g. showing caricatures of "evil Jews", generally blaming Jewish people rather than Israelis/zionists, etc...).

And fifth: the "optics" are playing into the right's hand. Spain "besieged by migrants sent by Israel" is the narrative now, and the right only has to disagree with the "sent by Israel" part which makes it seem like "the siege" is an established, universally agreed upon crisis. Yet Spain successfully sent these migrants back, plus to get to Spain proper they need to cross the strait on a boat with passport checks, meaning that crossing into Ceuta like this is pretty pointless because you can't get to the mainland from there (and also why many migrants are returning). So the whole "besieged" narrative is a bit overblown. Sure, there's a problem with these people trying to get into Ceuta (and Melilla), but it's not like they're going to flood Europe from here, that's just a right-wing panic narrative.

Don't get me wrong, zionists are scum and Israel needs to stop their genocide. But that doesn't make something like this a "Jewish conspiracy".

Don't play into the hand of the right.

Are they migrants or just Moroccans mass swarming a Spanish colonial outpost to take it back as they attempted to previously?

[ETA] So you get downvoted for asking a question? WTF? Has this place now just become Reddit?

Well yeah the source is nazi facebook, you'll find antisemitism there, but Israel & the US being implicated because of Spain's clear stance is kind of a given until proven otherwise (waiting for proofs the other way around is playing into their hand)

clear stance of still being a NATO member, clear stance of still having colonial outposts in Ceuta and Melila and the Canary islands, clear stance of participating in neo colonialism, clear stance of shooting immigrants.

Should first nations in canada control back by force all the land where the descendent of the settler took? Also Ceuta was not always part of Morocco civilizations, Morocco also took it by force. Today all people in it have full nationality with full right , Moroccan has no right to claim it back. CeutΓes are the only people who have the right to decide where they want to belong by pressuring spain to do a referendum You belong to reddit with your bullshit
