Brazil has one of the highest rates of women being killed, registering 399 femicides in the first quarter of 2026.

This seems like a situation where the laws are useless and not enforced, so they can just pass whatever without worrying anything will ever be implemented. Or, maybe, that it will only be implemented for the privileged.
