TikTok serves teenager 750 pro suicide videos in a week, hides the evidence after they get caught, and then promises to cut back on the percent of people they use as human test subjects.

Many privacy policies will admit or at least hint at the fact they will use a person's physical and mental well-being (either acquiring via their platform or some third party) to target them with things. I can almost guarantee TikTok was doing this too. In other words, they knew what they were doing in every sense but the one where they'd face consequences.
