Original Title: When talking about topics like: "Who pays for MS Office?" I'm always told that big companies have to buy it because they can get inspections where pirated software may be discovered. So my question is: How does these inspections work? Are they done by the government or they are some sort of private investigation made by software corporations? If they are private, how can they have the authority to inspect the computers from someone else? If they are not, can the government just make the companies give them access or something? I'm from Argentina, but I'm interested to hear how this work elsewhere too. |
