Today, I went to see the Odyssey with my little brother.

It was great! I particularly loved Anne Hathaway's performance. She really hit it out of the park. The rest of the cast was from good to great, as I really couldn't say anyone was bad, per se, though some aspect of the movie weren't quite to my taste. I thought Travis' part was a little superfluous or weird, for instance, though I really don't think it had anything to do with his performance, and moreso with the script; I thought Calipso was really weak, and every time they were on Calipso's island is just felt like nothing; and I thought Tom Holland was mediocre, as he does tend to be.

On the other hand, I felt that Circe was incredible, really awesome. She was creepy, very emotional... Just, an amazing performance by Samantha Morton. Really incredible, though I will reaffirm that the biggest thing was the very unnerving and creepy transformation (that she ultimately brought to life).

I rate it a strong 4. Definitely worth a watch! I watched it in IMAX, but I'm not sure how worth it that particular choice was. I do wonder how different an experience it would've been to watch on a regular screen, so to speak.
