As stupid as the title sounds i really don’t know why.

yesterday i was doing the level 70 story missions and i got to level 74, but then i decided to get some xp from the adventure guide, did the crafting disciplines and got 56k xp and that’s normal.

When I went to do the crafting one a wooden reward chest popped up and as i always do i right clicked it and got a gazillion numbers on my screen and when it went away I saw that the xp bar wasn’t showing my level but the mastery points. Can anyone explain what just happened?

I was actually enjoying leveling (and I’m not usually like that, cuz i find leveling kind of boring) and now i feel like i lost what to do now ( and yes i know lvl 80 is where all the good content is)
