I should be upfront in saying that it is impossible for me to make friends due to a nat 1 charisma stat that hovers over my entire life so being able to play WoW without needing to talk to anyone has been one of the best welcoming escapes I've had in gaming. I'm well aware I'll never do any of the fun stuff that involves groups like PUGs and that's fine by me because I'm still able to enjoy the game in some capacity even if I can't enjoy it fully. I got back into WoW with this last expansion after not playing since Dragonflight and its the first time this year in a long time that I want to keep playing because I don't have to group up for anything or get to know anyone. To simply call it a nat 1 charisma stat is an understatement at the level of ire I draw just from being present, really has to be seen to be believed.
